Department of Science monitors Covid strain - Omicron JN.1

The Department of Medical Sciences monitors the COVID-19 strains, finding that the Omicron strain JN.1 is still the main strain in Thailand, with a cumulative proportion of 64.97%.
Today (April 4, 2025), Dr. Yongyos Thamvuthi, Director-General of the Department of Medical Sciences, revealed the situation of the COVID-19 virus strains that the World Health Organization is currently prioritizing the monitoring of the Omicron strains, which consists of 8 strains, with the JN.1* strain being the strain under surveillance. There are also 7 strains that need to be monitored, namely KP.2*, KP.3*, KP.3.1.1, JN.1.18*, LB.1*, XEC (hybrid strain of KS.1.1 and KP.3.3), and LP.8.1 (sub-strain of KP.1.1.3). สล็อต
